Welcome! Here we are, what we are!
Spencer's Pashmina Brand
Our Values
Our success is not only due to the quality of our work; it's the attitude, the approach and the way we treat and respect our worthy customers.
Business Story
It was the year 1999. Tyler’s father, Moby, had to borrow money to pay for Tyler’s admission as an Undergrad IT student. While developing the website as an assignment, Tyler also developed one to sell greeting cards online. It did not work but Tyler did not give up. Hanna and Nikki joined their brother to explore business opportunities online. After many months of research, the three siblings succeeded in selling hundreds of Pashmina Shawls on eBay. Inspired by this, they developed the website in 2001 and named it Spencer's Pashmina. Tyler, Hanna and Nikki left, one after the other for higher education in 2003, 2005 and 2007 respectively. Spencer's Pashmina continues to progress under the management of Moby and his wife. Having sold thousands of pashminas, we take pride in being the trend setters in introducing pashmina varieties.
What is Pashmina?
The outer skin shed by the high altitude Himalayan is manually woven. It is called Pashmina Wool. The prefix Pashmina is added to the scarves, wraps, stole, shawls, throws and other products made from this wool. At times, the shawls and wraps are referred to as Pashmina. The products produced in Kashmir (also spelled as Cashmere) are referred to as Cashmere or Cashmere Pashmina or even Pashmina. The products produced in Nepal are referred to as Pashmina. Unlike ordinary woolen wraps and shawls, pashminas are lighter in weight and softer than the former. With gentle and smooth texture, these are a treat to wear over your shoulders. Graceful to look at, the feeling of touching a pashmina shawl is somewhat similar to touching the soft skin of a baby.Initial Goal
Frankly speaking, the initial goal was to arrange money to finance the higher education of the three children.
Revised Goal
Now, our goal is not restricted to making profit but to attract more women who like to look stylish, gorgeous and magnificent. You would enjoy wearing genuine pashminas and would be saved from buying cheap and fake pashminas. At the same time, we strive to alleviate the sufferings of the breast cancer patients and the needy students.
Procurement and Quality Check
We procure genuine and high quality pashmina products from India and Nepal. These are thoroughly checked for the quality. Over the years, our suppliers know our high quality standards and supply to us only the best of the best.

Customer Base
"Great Quality, Affordable Prices!
I've been a customer for almost 20 years, and always come back to Spencer's to purchase for myself or get presents. They offer a quality product at a price I can actually afford. I'm glad I found Spencer's years ago. By Eileen O'Brien."
Corporate Social Responsibility
We use organic and environmental friendly color dyes. As weaving of pashmina is mostly done by women, a part of our income (we match the tips received by us) is spent on breast cancer research and helping the needy students.
