Where is Wendy Williams?

Wendy Williams stepped back from her talk show in 2021 due to health complications.

Lifetime is going to air a two-part documentary about Wendy titled, “Where is Wendy Williams”. The documentary covers as to what transpired after the end of her daytime talk show. The trailer of the documentary has been released by Lifetime on Feb. 2.

"All I know is how to be famous," Williams says in the trailer. "I really want to be back on television." The trailer showed Wendy’s determination to stage a comeback and aftermath of her being placed under a financial guardianship.

“Wendy has been part of the Lifetime family for over a decade and during that time, we partnered with Wendy for her revealing biopic and doc,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming at A&E Network, in a press release. “But her story is not finished. There is so much more to it. Nobody truly knew the depths of Wendy’s reality so we hope that what our cameras captured can help shine a light on what she is facing now.” 

The list of the producers of the current documentary include Williams, her son Kevin Hunter Jr. and manager Will Selby.

The documentary will be released over two nights Read on for everything to know about Williams' upcoming documentary on Lifetime on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. ET. The second will air on Lifetime on Feb. 25.

The documentary covers Wendy’s life after the end of her talk show, her health and substance abuse battles. It poses and answers the question as to where she had been during the last two years after the talk show, thus, the title of the documentary, “Where is Wendy Williams?”

The trailer gives a clue that the documentary will cover as to why she was struggling financially despite being a celebrity for years and having been nominated many times Daytime Emmys.

“I have no money," she says in the trailer. “And let me tell you something, if it happens to me, it can happen to you.” Source: TODAY.

Born on July 18, 1964, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Wendy hosted a talk show, Wendy William Talk Show from 2008 to 2021. Earlier, she hosted a number of radio programs. She became notorious for her on-air spats with celebrities.

The current documentary is expected to be viewed by a large number of Wendy fans and it may also result in much dreamed about comeback by Wendy Williams.
